Presented is the BEST CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER MANY FIGURAL 4 PIECE TEA, COFFEE, COVERED SUGAR and CREAMER I HAVE EVER SEEN ON OR ANYWHERE ELSE. All 4 pieces are made by WANG HING c.1890 and weigh a total of 74 TROY OUNCES.

I have only been able to upload 12 pictures but have more which are available upon request, as there are SCENES COVERING THE BODIES OF ALL 4 PIECES.

The set comprises of COFFEE POT, TEAPOT, COVERED SUGAR BOWL and CREAMER with approx 62 LARGE FIGURES and HORSES. There are several BATTLE SCENES as well as SCENES OF DAILY LIFE. The chasing and engraving is MINT with extremely sharp detail. There is absolutely NO WEAR to any of the scenes including ALL FACIAL DETAIL on ALL FIGURES. The scenes are beautifully highlighted against a finely matted background.

The APPLIED HANDLES, SPOUTS and FINIALS are formed as WELL DETAILED DRAGONS with VERY FINE SCALING AND FACIAL FEATURES.

I WILL NOT GO INTO DETAIL DESCRIBING ALL THE SCENES AS I FEEL MY PICTURES GIVE A GOOD IDEA, HOWEVER WITHOUT A DOUBT THE SET IS FAR, FAR BETTER IN REAL LIFE.

This is a LARGE, well proportioned 4 piece set with the teapot measuring approx 27cm tip of handle to end of spout and standing approx 14.5cm high. The weight of all 4 pieces is a solid 74 TROY OUNCES or 2,301 GRAMS!

Each piece is clearly marked underneath : WH, 90 , CHINESE CHARACTERS. Made by Wang hing c.1890 and very much the FINEST OF WANG HING'S WORK.

CONDITION : ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, NO repairs, NO damage, SUPER SHARP DETAIL THROUGHOUT.
