Repurposing at its finest... what is a more useful and positive way to give new life and pay homage to the creatures once used in the making of fur garments? I love to reinvent fresh and new collectible teddy bears and critters, using only the finest vintage fur. All my bears are made with the utmost care and precision and comprise only the finest materials. Considerable time and attention goes into each and every one of my bears. Each bear is of my own personal design, and each one unique and individual.

Here is a very sweet little cub-like teddy bear named Chloe. She stands at about 7 1/2\", and is made from repurposed very dark brown mink fur. She is simply adorable from the tip of her little cupped ears to her slightly downward pointing toes. The pictures do not do Chloe justice. Dark fur is difficult to photograph, and the images simply do not capture the beauty of this little cub and her gorgeous fur.

• Chloe stands at about 7 1/2\" (22 cm) (not including ears) and sits at about 5 1/2\"; she weighs 8 oz. (240 g)
• She has beautiful black glass eyes and epoxy resin hand sculpted eyelids featuring a small bit of hand painted and sealed sclera (eye white)
• Her pink textured nose has been hand sculpted from epoxy resin and hand shaded
• Her 4 leather paw pads are also pink colored, needle sculpted and hand shaded
• Chloe is 5-way jointed; discs, washers and bolts in arms and legs, and cotter-pin jointed for a semi wobbly neck joint, allowing for some very cue head tilts
• She cannot stand on her own, her legs are very slightly bent and feet slightly slanted downwards
• She has wire armature in arms and legs for extra poseability, bending at elbow and knee
• Chloe comes with a pretty silver heart and key pendant

Chloe bears the signature \"Linda Joan\" on a leather tag attached to her derriere and as with all my creations, is dated and numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a hangtag. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures.

I am honored and humbled to have received numerous international awards, including Bears of Excellence, Toby (Industry Choice and People\'s Choice), Golden Teddy, Ace, and Sydney Peoples Choice. I am a juried member of the New Brunswick Crafts Council, and have appeared on Canada\'s national French television network.
