Colonel Hap Hazard 1960’s Robot Toy in Original Box – Marx Toys
Just pulled this out of the attic--a toy I received for Christmas in the 1960’s. Colonel Hap Hazard, from Marx toys ran on batteries and shuffled along the floor with a swinging arms and a rotating light bar on his head.
The Colonel looks almost as good as new from the front, but he has suffered from a bit of cancer in the back, haven fallen victim to a leaking pair of batteries. He would look great on display, but I doubt he will ever walk again. The face mask is clear and has no cracks. The box is mostly intact, but it to shows some signs of age and handling.
I am not a collector, and I don’t know the grading terminology or standards for vintage toys, so I have posted many pictures of both the toy and the box so that you can make an accurate assessment of the condition.
