You are looking at a 1781 $50.00 Colonial Note from the Colony of Virginia. Note is dated May 15 1781. It is Uncirculated but it has been repaired. Looks like there was a tear from center bottom, up about half way through the notes. Someone did a decent job of putting back together. No other folds or problems. No pin holes either. Obvious that this note never circulated. I don\'t collect Colonial Currency but this one I almost kept just to have an example for my collection. She\'s still a very pretty high denomination note.
