This is \'Dinkie\', the cute little dog designed by Chloe Preston, and made by Farnell in the 1920\'s /30\'s.He is made from brown velveteen and he is jointed at the neck so his head can swivel.His cute look is due to his large milk glass googlyeyes, which gives him a wonderful expression.He has his original nose stitching, and has his little tongue poking out.As you can see by the pictures he has overall wear to the velveteen nap, but he is in structurally good condition, with no repairs. On one hind paw you can just see a couple of small ares where the internal wire is exposed.He is kapok filled throughout and measures 6 inches long (excluding tail) x approx 4½ inches high (15cm x 11.5cm)Dinkie is always popular with collectors, and this little chap will be sure to make you smile!
