Here today is a darling vintage 8 inch hard plastic strung Ginny doll \"Margie\" #28 from the Kindergarten Kiddie Series made by Vogue in 1951. Although Margie\'s dress is untagged it is definitely the pink version made by Vogue. Her adorable little dress is made of a pink waffle weave fabric with little gathered cap sleeves, trimmed with a woven band with a pink flower design, closing in the back with a single intact hook and eye. She is wearing her matching waffle weave panties but the elastic is stretched so they are pinned in the back. To complete Margie\'s outfit she is wearing her white Maryjane center greek key snap shoes and pretty little pink socks. Margie\'s outfit is crisp and clean with no tears, no stains, no fading and no odors. Margie is wearing her original reddish blonde braided wig, that could probably use a little refreshing, that are tied with tiny pink silk ribbons. The flowers are just added on, its just a personal preference of mine to see flowers in the dolls hair, they are easily removed. As I indicated she is a strung doll that has no joint issues, stringing is just right. Her face paint is excellent with nicely blushed cheeks, vivid painted lower lashes and nicely painted brown brows, (no green or yellow), and tiny red painted lips. Her shiny reddish/dark brown eyes open and close most of the time, if she is lying down and they don\'t open when set upright just the slightest tap on her head will open them again. I don\'t see any unwanted marks on her body but there may be a little dust present that Im certain can be wiped off. Margie and her adorable outfit are both in excellent clean condition that would be lovely to display during the up coming Easter season.
