DENVER & RIO GRANDE HANDLAN RAILROAD LANTERN WITH MATCHING MARKED GLOBE. Tall globe railroad lantern manufactured by Handlan. This is a round top wire bottom embossed, \"D&RGRR\" for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. The frame has been around with some issues to note. The globe retainer is a Keystone Casey. The insert pot is an Adlake 300 that was soldered, and still has some pinholes. The tip of the lid latch is also missing but will still open and shut. Still with all that the frame is structurally sound in good condition with nice metal, and it comes with a very nice matching, clear etched, \"D&RGRR\" melon or barrel globe in fine condition, free of any major chips and cracks. Worth the opening offer alone.
