Original WMI \"Western Military Institute\" Civil War Button
Nice dug W.M.I. or Western Military Institute button recovered here in Tennessee. The button still has some gold gilt shining through around the eagle w/ coat of arms and the words \'Cadet\' and \'WMI\'. There is a slight push in the center of the button, but the integrity of the piece remains intact. It has a somewhat legible Waterbury back mark with shank present. Its a nice little button, recovery site is unknown.
