Up for grabs is a nice earlypieceof Canadianmininghistory. An early Canadian Dynamite plunger by the Dominion Cartridge Company.The Dominion Cartridge Co was merged with other companies to form CEL in 1910 but the name was retained for use on ammunition. In 1911 it became a subsidiary of CEL and in 1928 of Canadian Industries Limited and known as Dominion (CIL). I\'m assuming that this plunger pre dates that.In good order. but untested. Handle moves up and down. Nice patina missing leather strap. missing one wing nut. See pictures.
