Early Orvis Flies on Original Card
Price: US $217.50
Early 6 1/8\" by 3 1/2\" card of Orvis Superfine Flies - Parmacheene Belle pattern - all four still sewn on the card, never removed or used. Card is in excellent condition, with slight discoloration on the reverse as shown in the second photo. No bends, creases or tears. This pattern was created by Henry P. Wells in 1876, and is perhaps the best known married wing pattern Brook Trout fly of all, named after Parmacheene Lake in the Rangeley region of Maine. Would make an awesome display item along an antique trout reel and/or rod.
