Easton Press Signed 1st First Edition - George W. Bush - A Charge To Keep. RARE
Price: US $710.00
Easton Press Signed 1st Edition. A Charge To Keep by George W. Bush. Only 1000 copies of this signed edition were published by The Easton Press in 1999. I personally removed the shrinkwrap after receiving the book in 2000, to verify that it was signed and placed it in one of my cherry wood, glass window door bookcases. It has sat there untouched for the past 15 years and has never been read. This book is like new and shiny, with no defects or flaws. I own one of the largest signed book collections in the world, comprised of thousands of signed volumes. All of my books are kept in closed door bookcases, in a dark, low humidity, climate controlled, non-smoking environment to ensure that they remain in the best possible condition. This is the first signed book sale I have listed on since 2008 and will begin listing more in the near future. Easton PressSigned Editions

Easton Press signedcollector volumes are rare and can only be produced in limited numbers. This is because they are hand-crafted and hand-boundin America by uniquely skilled American artisans and craftsmen who have anuncompromising dedication to the art of traditional bookmaking, as opposed to massproduction. These are some of theworld’s finest and most beautiful books. They are built to last forever. AllEaston Press books are heirloom-quality leather-bound editions with moiré fabric endsheets, a satin-ribbon page marker, 22 kt goldaccents deeply inlaid on the covers and hubbed spine, and humidity/dustresistant 22 kt gold gilded page edges. Acidneutral, archival quality pages will resist all yellowing and cracking withage, being sewn into the binding and not glued as in ordinary books, forgreater flexibility, strength and durability. The premium leather bindings are luxurious and cut from specially tannedhides of superb quality. All of thebooks undergo a meticulous and rigorous inspection at every stage of thecrafting process to ensure unmatched adherence to exacting standards of qualityand attention to every detail. Thesefeatures and the workmanship of Easton Press volumes distinguishes them fromall other books.

The celebrities andhistorical figures who have chosen Easton Press to create the definitiveleather-bound collectable editions of their memoirs and landmark works, onlyhave the time to autograph a small percentage of these books. As a result, these signed titles can be abetter investment than stocks or bonds, selling for many times their originalprice within a few years. A great numberof Easton Press books are now virtually impossible to find on the secondarymarket as collectors hold them, watching as their value skyrockets with everypassing year. For example, the EastonPress signed edition of Nelson Mandela’s memoirs which originally sold for $79in December 2000 now sells for as much as $12,500.
