You are offerding on a Edward vom Hofe 3/0 Celebrated 501 Star reel. These reels are becoming scarce and hard to find. Pat date is Jan. 23rd. 1883. The plate dia. is 3\" 3/4\" with spool width of 1- 9/16th\". The sliding oil cap has a six point star with the letter K in the center. The # 3/0 is located on the center of the reel foot. The sliding drag click is very strong and is located on the tail plate. The weight of the reel is approx. 19.70 oz. These Celebrated star reels were custom made for Edward vom Hofe\'s clients.
