Period engraved lion in winged frame family crest.
Raised petal fluted oval with unique basket weave border work, for which Pontifex is well known.
Shell and petal rim.
Cover with original natural substance wafer and sterling cap finial.
Leaf framed shell and anthemion spout.
Original stained natural substance. Atop cast ball feet.
The sugar and cream jug original retain the gold interior

Hallmarked as shown.
In very fine condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands firm on table. Mild surface wear and finial lacking support.
