For sale is this exceptional antique Meiji period Japanese okimono of a woodcutter and a small boy holding a flute whilst sitting on a bundle of sticks.  The level of detail in this piece is amazing considering it\'s very small size.  The facial features are very good.  There is expected minor age yellowing to the back and the hand holding the axe over his shoulder looks to be a replacement.  There is also what appears to be a natural flaw to the back of his other shoulder.  This piece is signed underneath and measures 5.5cm tall by 4.5cm wide.  Please look at all the photos as they form an important part of the description.  Please look at my other oriental listings as I am happy to combine shipping where possible.  I politely request payment within 2 days of sale end.  A non-paying buyer case is opened after that time.  I do not ship to China.  Thank you.
