Up for sale with is a fantastic Art Deco Period Reed & Barton Sterling Silver Tea or Coffee Set complete with Tray. The Pot, Cream and Sugar feature a most unique design, the likes of which I have never seen before. The entire service also shows great Hammer Marks throughout. All the pieces are quite thick Sterling Silver with rolled over reinforced rims which makes the service very durable for modern use. The Set is fully marked for the very fine American Silversmiths Reed & Barton along with a Date Symbol for 1928, so you know it is a true Art Deco Period Service.

The Service and Trayare in really superb condition for the age with only the most minor signs of use and age as seen, including a couple tiny bends to foot rims. TheSet has neverbeen monogrammed either, which is very nice. The Service would be great for Tea or Coffee with the Pot measuring 8-3/4 inches tall by7 inches long and holding1-1/2 cups, the Cream Jug standing3-1/2 inches tall at the spout, the Sugar Bowl measuring5-1/2 inches wide across the handles and the Platter Tray measuring13-1/4 inches long by10-1/8 inches wide. The Service also has a hefty combined weight of1355 grams. I love this most unusual service and I am sure you will be the only one of your friends to own one !
