A fine & largeantique single fusee wall clock by E. T. Jenkins of Wales (most likely of the town of Merthyr Tydfil). The clock is unusual as it has \"Rhodd\" written on the dial which means gift in the Welsh language, the watchmaker must have presented the clock to a school or municipal offices or other institutionand placedhis namebelow for all to know where the clock originated from! The clockhas a finely and heavily carved walnut case with a geometric crest, fruiting vines & leaves and C scrolls to the base. The enameled whitedial having large Roman numerals, original hands, the dial is all original and in great shape, eight day mechanism, with original brass pendulum & winding key. The clock is in fantastic condition and works perfectly, size is huge at 24\" (61cm) x 22.5\" (57cm). A great quality collectors clock, investment quality and in great condition.
