A fine rare old Northwest Coast Haida or possibly Tlingit Indian hand large maple wood feast spoon dating from the late 1800's. The design is a delicate and finely carved seated beaver crest figure. Note the precise carved details. The spoon measures 11 1/2" long and is in fine condition with a thin graceful shape bowl. Wooden feast spoons are quite rare outside a museum setting and this one displays very well. This museum quality spoon will make a fine addition to anyone's collection.
