This is for abeautiful antique French silver compact. The silver has a crocodile skin effect all over and an empty cartouche on the lid. The hinged lid has a mirror on the underside and the compact has its original suspension ring for hanging to a chain. There are two French boars head silver stamps on the bezel of the lid and a makers mark that just shows the letter M. It is in excellent condition and the lid sits tight and flush. It measures 40mm(1.5") n diameter and stands 20mm (0.75") deep.
