This is a usedGundlach Manhattan Optical Co. 6 1/2\" x 8 1/2\" Criterion Large Format Camera that is in excellent condition. This Gundlach camera was manufactured between 1909 and 1925. The body of this camera is made from stained cherry, and is in excellent condition with very minor visible scratches and no damage. The hardware of this camera is in a beautiful polished nickle, and are in good condition with minimal visible scratches. The bellows of this camera is made from leatherette material, and are in excellent condition and are light tight. Unknown if these bellows are original. These bellows were successfully hand tested with a flashlight, and passed a thorough check up. This camera has rear focus via rack andpinion. The focus moves smooth andprecisealong the gear track. The standards have double swing movements, and the back is reversible by way of removal. This camera utilizes a 4 1/2\" x 4 1/2\" lens board (the one that is included needs a little bit of felt backing to make it tight). The Ground Glass is clean with no chips, stains or cracks. This camera comes with a Gundlach Rapid Single 8x10 lens in good condition with 1 aperture slide in F/8. This lens does focus sharp on the ground glass. This camera will include 2 \"like-new\" condition 6 1/2\" x 8 1/2\" Film Holders.
