Up for sale is a vintage Fiesta turquoise demitasse pot with lid. The lid and the base are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dings, repairs or crazing. The glaze is a little mottled in places the way HLC turquoise will do and there seems to be some very, very fine grains of sand under the glaze - not reallynoticeable by the eye but only when you run your hands along it. There are a couple of very light, small scuffs on the body. None of this will even photograph. That being said, this is an absolutely outstanding example of a very difficult to find piece. Both the base and the lid are in excellent condition, almost perfect. This is a great demi pot in aparticularlyhard color to find. This item was produced in this color only from mid-1937 to mid-1942.
