DOA WarrantyI've had a lot of requests for a specific cable, or changing out for other cables, so I've listed all these cables separately as well as in this listing. If you want all 5 of these cables this IS the cheaper option. If you want 5 cables but would rather have more SATA and less IDE (for example) search my store for the other listings and buy exactly what you need.What I have here is cable sets that came with Antec TP550 and TP650 Power Supplies. The systems we use these for have no need of these cable sets and so I have a bunch sitting around here. These are all new, taken from the PSU box and stashed away.
I don't know or understand anything to do with these so I'll just describe it how I can.The description I came across:
Hybrid Modular Cable SystemThere are five modular cable sockets on the front of the PSU. The three 6-pin black sockets are used for the modular peripheral device cables and the two 8-pin red sockets are used for additional PCI-E cables. are 5 total cables per set.
2 of them have the 6 pin black socket that go out to 3 SATA connections.
2 of them have the 6 pin black socket that go out to 3 IDE Molex connections.
1 of them have a red 8 pin socket that go out to a 6 pin black socket PCI-E connection.These cables are not standardized, even amongst other Antec power supplies. Pin connections and shape of connections can vary. I don't know if they work in anything other than an Antec TP550 or TP650, although I've gotten a lot of response from people that have tried them in other models and brands and report that they have worked. I don't know what those brands and/or models are. I've given all the information I can to help figure it out, I have no other useful information that can be has options for both First Class Mail in the US and Priority Mail in the US. 1 to 5 items WILL ship First Class Mail. Choose the lowest shipping option available there, because that is how my warehouse will ship it. They will not pay attention to your selection. Priority is listed only as an option so shipping discounts will figure up somewhat correctly when buying multiples.
Still, though, there are multiples that it doesn't figure correctly.
