ITEM: You are offerding on an iconic and really fabulous machine age art deco period GE / General Electric electric 1930s chromium cased clock. Just a fabulous Industrial design aesthetic in very good - fine working condition.Really a spirited design and fine example of this coveted 1930\'s machine age clock.

The screamingly Streamlined 4F60 \"Dictator\" was offered by General Electric between 1935-38. Created by acclaimed industrial designer Raymond E. Patton, the man behind such icons of Deco era design as the Hotpoint ‘Gazelle’ toaster and the Alco FA locomotive, not to mention many of GE/Telechron’s most sought after clock models, the Dictator features a unique case with a chrome cowling-like dial, recessed matte black numerals, a black mirror face with ‘red dot’ power interruption indicator, and exposed nickel silver hands. This old very coveted rare antique clock is in very good as found condition and measures 5” high x 5 1/2” wide x 3” deep.

In working order, but it likely needs a new electric cord if this is to be used - we had this plugged in all afternoon and it seems to keep accurate time and runs smoothly and quietly. The topaz black glass looks great and is without issue the outer chromium plated bezel ring has a little scratching and light wear in places and is not perfect. The photos here say it all this is fabulous ~~
