This sale is foraVINTAGE 1960\'s IDEAL GLAMOUR MISTY, HORSMAN MARY POPPINS, PEDIGREE SINDY & CLOTHING LOT. The lot includes five Glamour Misty dolls with various blond and brown haircolors. Two of the Mistys are on the wrong Tammy style straight leg body - one of those also has a wrong Barbie style arm and is missing some hair plugs on top. The other three are on the correct straight leg Misty body - one is very dirty and has small gouges out on the plastic body and a pinkish arm; one is dirty, her hair has beencut and she has pin holes in her ears; one hastwo smallstains on an arm and a crushed heel on one leg. All of the Mistys need cleaning and all of their face paint needs touching up, some more than others. They appear to have their fingers & toes intact and no neck splits. Mary Poppins is in relatively good shape with no neck split or missing fingers or toes - her make-up is nice but her black hair needs styling. Sindy has a cut on one knee andsome ink spots on her legs - her knees do not hold bends but her legs can still go into a sideways split position. She has her fingers & toes, no neck split, her make-up is nice and she appears to have her \"real\" eyelashes intact. She needs cleaning and I am not sure if her blond hair has been cut - it definitely needs styling.
The clothing is assorted andincludes Mary Poppins\' stained blue overcoat and carpet bag (which is missing a handle),a tennis dress, a long ruffled dress with underskirtthat hasa tag\"An original by Dorothy Adams Houston Texas\", a blue plastic rain slicker & hat, and more. Some has stains and some needs repair. Most of it has issues and needs cleaning- the clothing pictured on the dolls is also included.
This lot is definitely not for someone who wants to display the dolls or clothing as-is -everything hasissues and would be good for doll restorers, parts, OOAK projects only. I tried to describe the dolls to the best of my ability, but may have missed some flaws (they have many).
