Up for sale with is an amazing very ornate and generous sized Victorian Period English Sterling Silver Coffee Pot. The Coffee Pot is one of the most ornate examples I have sold with incredible cast and etched designs throughout. The Coffee Pot is also made all the more special by the Figural Persian Man as the finial. The details and quality of this Pot really have to been in real life to truly appreciate it,being so much finer than my photos show. The Pot also features a very nice inscription that reads \"Presented to the Rev. W. Burdett M.A. by the Inhabitants of North Molton & Twitchen as a Testimony of their Regard and Esteem and in Grateful Recognition of his Services as their Minister 17th Jan, 1858\". The Coffee Pot is in superb all original condition for the age with no damage or repairs. The Pot is also an impressive large size measuring11-1/2 inches tall by8-1/2 inches long and will hold approx7 cups. The Pot has a nice quality weight of978 grams. The Pot is fully Hallmarked for the fine Period Silversmith W.R. Smily, London England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1855. This really is an incredibly fancy Coffee Pot and is sure to be the star of any Victorian Figural Silver collection. I also doubt you will find another like this up for sale any time soon, especially selling without reserve !
