My name is Isabelle & I am the artist behind Babies Reborn by Isabelle :) My goal when reborning is to produce the most beautiful, high quality & realistic dolls of which I\'m capable.For 6 years, I\'ve been a professional doll \"repaint\" artist & have had the great honor of being one of the top repaint artists in the world.
Hundreds of my repaints have been sold & are in private collections world-wide. All my reborn dolls have also been sold & are in private collections around the world.
I\'ve been a feature artist in Fashion Doll Quarterly (FDQ) magazine & both repaint & reborn dolls have been in group art exhibitions in Toronto.
My professional background is in fine art as a contemporary painter & print maker. In the past, I\'ve exhibited here in Toronto, Europe & USA in solo & group exhibitions. Baby Charlie was reborn using Genesis heat set paints & sealers.
Very thin layers were applied in order to create rich realistic beautifully translucent skin tones with intricate veins, subtle blushing & tonal variations.
Baby brows were delicately painted with soft thin strokes.
Little Charlie\'s hair was meticulously hand painted over several days with a gorgeous baby swirl & then micro rooted using a mix of beautiful soft silky Slumberland mohair in dark brown & OOAK silky mohair in medium brown .
Rooted silky baby lashes.
Delicate tipped finger nails & toe nails.
Lips & noserealistically shaded &lightly glossed .
Soft & subtle slight dewy skin texture added.
Realistic matching Sabine Altenkirch painted tummy/chest plate included.
Cozy doe suede body with 3/4 arms & full legs.
Fine glass beads & high quality cuddlyFiberfill used in body - no sand!
All photography taken in natural daylight with professional lenses at various times of the day over the course of several days.
Baby Charlie is a one of a kind doll artwork painted for adult collectors & NOT recommended for children.
Charlie is fitted with a strong magnet to connect with a magnetic pacifier ~ not suitable around individuals with pacemakers~ can be removed upon request.
