This is a superb example of the classic Jaeger Calibre 219 Travel Alarm in the extremely rare painted green enamel finish. The plated surfaces are like new...no blistering, flaking or discolouration whatsoever. The painted surfaces are also in fabulous condition with only the slightest surface scuffs around the winder and setting knobs, likely from fingernails! The dial and hands are completely original with only the slightest signs of their 60 yr age. The movement is calibre 219. The movement has been completely serviced and performance restored with the addition of a new OEM leCoultre mainspring, balance-complete assembly and bell screws. The clock has been fully tested/timed on a Swiss Witschi tester. Balance wheel amplitude averages 270 degrees in normal standing position. Runs beyond 8 days and stays within 90 seconds throughout the winding period. The clock comes in its original Jaeger box and includes a new Swiss made Jaeger-leCoultre lint-free polishing cloth.
