    We proudly present for sale this beautiful woven bronze sweets dish (kashiki).   This exquisite antique find comes  fresh from a local estate collection. It dates to the mid to late 19th Century era (Meiji Period, circa 1860-90s) and comes from a non-smoking household. This elegant dish is just one of many superb Asian antiques that we are selling this week (Please see our other sale listings to view them all!). Like all our sales, this lovely piece is being offered here with a low opening offer and price.

    This delightful dish is skillfully woven in imitation of fine bamboo basketry. It is made of bronze, with gilded copper and applied bronze details. The dish is in very good vintage condition, with the only flaw being some light wear to the gilding.

    The dish features decorative butterfly and peony motifs. It measures approximately 9 3/4\" in diameter by 1 5/8\" deep. The dish is signed on the base with an unidentified artist\'s signature seal.

     This elegant bronze kashiki dish will make an outstanding addition to any fine home or collection!

     We are happy to combine shipping costs as much as possible. Please realize, however, that some items cannot be safely –or economically- packaged together, depending on the size, type, and weight of the items purchased. Occasionally, purchases may need to be shipped separately- we will always do so in the safest, most affordable way possible.

    Please do not offer unless you have an active Paypal account. Fraudulent buyers who request our e-mail address, our home address, or our bank account information will automatically receive negative response and be reported to management . We reserve the right to cancel any offer for any reason, without prior notice. 

Seller guarantees all items to be as described. If not satisfied with your purchase due to an unquestionably faulty description, a full refund will be made -ONLY to buyers with visibly good response- following safe return of said item.    ADDITIONAL NOTE: I strive for the greatest accuracy in all of my listings. I double-check every measurement -especially when dealing with clothing or artwork- and post only photos in which the colors appear just as they do in real life.
