How to make sure the ribbon matches the photo paper:
Installing and removing ink cartridges when the printer turned on can effectively reduce the waste of ink cartridges (Not need to turn off the power when you replace the ink or paper) and avoid a situation of ribbon not match the photo paper. Because turning on or off the camera will rotate the ribbon and consumes a certain amount of ribbons.
Use tips for you:
The size of the cartridge must be identical with the paper tray size ("P" size or 6 inches in this case). If the size does not match, the printer will not be able to print. Tighten the ribbon rotation roller to make it flat before use to avoid the error "the cartridge is empty" showing from the machine. (the aging of the machine may cause the issue: ink cartridge is empty) Make sure the ink cartridge is installed in the direction of the arrow and complete it with a slight push. Use sublimation photo paper come with this set, not common photo paper or common paper, otherwise it may damage the printer or paper jam. Please don't touch the print side of the photo paper, because the grease on your fingers will melt the cartridges. The layer of film on top can only be heated once. Repeated use of photo paper may damage the ink cartridge and printer.
