Up for sale are 10 cool, mid century, vintage plastic star Christmas ornaments. Some people call them Sputnik or atomic ornaments. I have themed Christmas trees, and these come from the retro tree theme. I\'ll be putting other vintage one up for sale soon. My son is 17 now, and he has Asperger syndrome, and he just has never really gotten the whole Christmas thing. So I would like some of my treasures to find new homes where someone will take them out and play. Besides, my grandkids would eat these or throw them at each other.
I have 6 gold, 2 silver, 2 red and 1 green ornament. I\'ve tried to photograph them fairly. They aren\'t spring chickens as my momma would say, so some of the shiny color is faded or flaked off on parts, and some have spiky ends and some are more blunt. One of the red pointy arms (or legs or appendages) is snapped off mdiway. If you were over 50 and you had no snapped parts I would be impressed. I\'m 49 and I can tell you I\'ve got some parts that need fixing. But I kind of like the imperfection of vintage pieces. That\'s what give them character. These things give a tree character. They are about 4\" across, and have little hooks at the end to hang on the tree.
