Description Alovely rare genuine English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver combination pencil and magnifying glass by the silversmiths Cohen & Charles, in good conditionand dating from around 1900.Beautifulqualityoriginal 110+ year old example, definitely not a modern re-production, has a magnifying glass with silver mount on one end and has a pencil on the other end. There are no added personal inscriptions.
Measurements Measures approx4.3 inches (109mm) in length, x 1.3 inches (32mm) in diameter.
Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver, hallmarked with the lion stamp of the London assay office and the lion passant sterling silver mark. The date letter is rubbed but looks to be the letter \"f\" for 1901.
Maker Silversmiths initials \"C & C\", (Cohen & Charles).ConditionGood usable condition, no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, and no nasty knocks or dents,just has little shallow age-related surfacebruises from normal use.The magnifying lens has no cracks or hairlines, does have some edge rim chips and nibbles, does magnify well. Definitely all original and not been made up or adapted.
