Marx Roy Rogers Playset

Recent estate find. You are only getting what you see in the photos. I don’t know how many pieces are missing, but I know there has to be missing pieces. I also do not know if all of the pieces in this grouping are original to the set.

Included: four main figures (Roy, Dale, Pat Brady and Bullet); buckboard wagon with horse and two riders; complete ranch house; ranch entry; ten white fence pieces (one is broken); two soft plastic brown fence pieces; tree and cactus; nine ranch accessories including complete well; five steer figures; five rearing or galloping horse figures; two standing horse figures; four dark gray figures; four light gray figures; six brown figures; and the original box.

The box has a 2.5” puncture to the lower right side on front. The lower left edge has a pressure crease. The box has overall warping, pressure outage wear, waviness and it is bloated. There’s corner and edge wear. Evident darkening and discoloration. Pressure marks, scuffing and all the related. The dividers inside have creasing and heavy edge wear. The box, especially the inside, is quite dusty.

The seat of the wagon has a stress line on each end. This seat is also noticeably discolored. One wagon wheel has a crack to the inside area. The ridge on the back of the wagon horse’s saddle has roughness from the wagon portion being put on and removed many times over the years.

The tin building is complete, including the bar on back. The building has bending – it is twisted some. The roof is warped as well. Nothing major. There are no major bends, dings, dents or anything like that to the tin pieces. Well cared for. It’s a little tricky to put the building back together.

The pale figures all have varying levels of darkening and discoloration. The pale standing horse is the crudest and has the ugliest discoloration. One tan horse will not stand.

One white fence post has a broken foot (damaged, broken off but included).

I think as a whole, the condition of this offering is better than average. Most of the items look well cared for. It is your opinion that matters most, so please help me out by closely reviewing the provided photos to best judge what you are offerding on. Twelve photos above and thirty photos below.
