Marx Western Town Jail side #2A few years ago I decided that I wanted to find a perfect Marx western town, hotel side and jail side. It took some time and a lot of purchases for me to realize it is not an easy goal to achieve. What I had to do was take perfect parts off of one and then another until I made the perfect unit. It only took 26 units to get both sides in just about perfect condition. By then I had a lot of left over buildings and a lot of accessories. I stored it all away thinking I would get back to it soon. That did not happen, I just don\'t have the time to get at them. For that reason, I am listing all of the extra buildings, building parts, accessories and most everything that I have that is associated with the western towns. Nothing is 100% perfect, unless I point it out in a listing, a lot of the items are in excellent condition and there is a lot of stuff that is borderline. Most of it is average played with condition. I will to the best of my ability point out any major flaws but with this much stuff there is a chance that I may miss or forget something. Most parts and accessories are original Marx items but there are some reproduction and some recasts. You make the final decision because all sales are final, sold as is with no warranty and no refunds. It will most likely take me a few days to get everything listed so check back often. There is rust and no dings or dents that I see. This is the first piece that I replaced the full front and back of the building, only the building, none of the attaching parts such as the base, roofs, awnings. The building was very straight but some one had scribbled all over it with a marker which was not removable. The graphics were replaced with copies of the originals and if I didn\'t say anything about it, most people would not be able to tell. There are a few very light scratches on the base and awnings but nothing real noticeable. Displays very well.
