MicroKinetics CNC Lathe 1440 14 x 40 Lathe with Hardinge D1-4 speed chuck & Tool
Price: US $3581.51
For sale is my Microkinetics CNC Lathe with Hardinge speed chuck and 5C collets almost a full set and wedge tooling Here\'s the link to the company that retrofitted the lathe it\'s USA base company their customer service is great The Lathe is amazing to do the Radii and the gomers on the Mortar bores and the repatriation of measurements were accurate. The Cannons and Mortars i made were as follow Napoleons
Parrots
Model 1841 Mountain Howitzers
Confederate & Coehorn Mortars
Naval Carriage Cannons.
Press dies\' for John Deere
Drilling Jig for Eldorado Buss MFG & Grain-belt and Sunflower AG.And many Many more Jobs the repetition of the measurements were very accurate.I had Machined many different alloys such as 4140 gun steel,Inconel used ceramic inserts,Titanium both grades com and grade 5,Aerospace Aluminum.I used Gun & spade drills for the Bore and have many reamers. The Golf-Ball Coehorn Mortars were the best sellers I haven\'t used this for the past 4 years I paid $8,500 without the tooling for it it was Used the guy had maybe 20 hours on it he was to busy with his Oil rigging job to make the tapered parts he needed without the tooling it runs great but i haven\' been able to figure out the threading I used this for making Scale Cannons and doing other jobs I make Jigs and prototype machining and was doing well with the Cannons and the only reason why i bought it was because i had a contract for the Royal Canadian Mounties to make their retirement cannon gifts. The Hardinge lathe worked fine but i had to make between 100-200 cannons a years shown is some of the Cannons i had made I would recommend you come and see the lathe and try it b4 you buy it also this is for pick up only and the cabinets are for sale also and their i a coolant pump included with a spear unit also their are some caroffere inserts included and the wedge tool holder has all the types and their are some gun drills included and it would be best to inspect it.I do have a reserve but it is low.Just a fraction of what i paid for just the tooling. The Hardinge D 1-4 speed chuck is worth alone between 3-4 hundred and their is about 30-40 collets and expanding ones also. I\'ll get a bunch of pictures with google for you to view. Also their is an extra servo card and the computer is included along with a HP w2007 led monitor and an extra computer the software was upgraded in 2014 The only reason why I\'m selling this is because i have pat due tax\'s and they won\'t take payment anymore it is a good way they treat Disabled Vets that served this country i hate to sell it but you have to do what you have to do to service i guess and it rots i already sold my Bridgeport and tooling i had wanted to keep the lathe because it would be to expensive to replace but it is what it is and after i was denied VA benefits i decided to sell it I will not be able to help load it due to my deteriorated spine and bone loss.So here it is and it is what it is unless i get the help from the Senators VA division it has to go because it is impossible for me to move.My lost is your gain.It really disgust me to have to sell this after all the work i had don to keep it but it is what it IS.Message me on any question OK thanks Austin Also the Lathe is Located at 67467 Minneapolis Kansas. And again I\'m unable;e to help load it you will have to disassemble it to load it and i have tools to do so. the Benches are also available for sale misaswell get rid of it all but I\'ll be keeping the hand tools Their may be some Brass and Bronze you can have and even some partial cannons and mortars made you can have. Here\'s the Link to the Company that sold the lathe the one shown is a different lathe but the spec\'s should be the same.I really don\'t want to sell this because they came up with a cool tool changer
