This first block of text will be the same in all of my listings.
Once you have read it on a listing, you can skip it after that
(I know, like you need my permission for that, right?)

Before you get too deep in my listings, please check
my response, so you can relax, trust me and offer or buy with confidence.

Everything I sell is unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic
and as described, period.
There\'s no room for conditions here, my response will show you I take
selling seriously and approach it with honesty and integrity.

Selling collectibles in this medium, I don\'t get to face you,
therefore, my biggest selling tools, my breathtaking looks, wit and charm,
(Oh, and my crippling humility)
are completely nullified, and like the gun on a Chinese tank
just can not be brought to bear.

Shipping is a point of pride for me.
ALL fragile items will be shipped with an overkill amount of bubble-wrap and/or styro loose fill,
in boxes excessively marked FRAGILE and HANDLE WITH CARE.
You will never see me shipping with newspaper or shredded paper
or other cheesy materials.
Also, you will never pay more than actual shipping charges,
no handling fees, no hidden fees.
Many items will be sold with free shipping,
but it doesn\'t mean they will be shipped any differently.
I\'ve been shipping glass across four decades,
and you can count on me to do it right.
I\'ve been digging bottles since 1975
(Wow, where does the time go)
and you can trust my handling.

Priority is a bit expensive, but my preferred method of shipping (especially bottles)
Many people don\'t realize that when you ship priority,
most of the actual handling and shipping is done by Federal Express.
Shipping with priority mail is like a divorce,
both are expensive because both are worth it
That being said, I will ship any way the customer wants (other than unsafely)

An added perk, ALL items shipped priority come with FREE tracking confirmation AND FREE INSURANCE!
You’re just not going to do any better than that.

PLEASE feel free to drop me an email with any questions,
thoughts, observations, whatever, don\'t be shy,
I love talking bottles, digging, collectibles, whatever.
I\'m fluent, friendly, almost completely housebroken and I don\'t bite (much)

This is a very recently excavated specimen, and you can bet
I did my little “happy dance” over this one.

If you want to get crazy accurate, if you tilt the blank back side towards
the light just right, you can see a hint of stain,
a refraction like gasoline on water.
It’s honestly not noticeable, bottle sparkles and displays spectacularly.

NO chips, cracks or other damage whatsoever, sparkling dug mint condition.

Cobalt blue, circa 1885-1905, standing 3 and 1/2 inches, mold-blown by hand
with a hand-tooled top and lip in the single ring style.

It’s hobnailed on three sides, 24 on each of the thinner sides,
and 32 on the front bisected by the word POISON.

The base is blank, and there’s some noticeable vertical thickness variations,
well visible in the shoulders.

The neck has some pinch just below a line of tooling demarcation,
capped by a wide band of tightly-packed and well-defined
circular hand-tooling lines.

Lip has subtle lateral thickness wave.

Base has some humped-up and uneven wave,
dives low into the corners, thin enough to make it amazing that this
survived burial for over a century, winding up over 10 feet deep in
in a debris filled 1800’s trash dump.

There’s a sweet, stretched teardrop bubble, better still
right in the glass under the embossing;

POISON

The hobnails are there, because this was blown
before electric lights were any more than a dream to 98% of the population.
That way, if you picked this up in the dark, you’d know by the feel
that it wasn’t grandma’s goiter medicine or grandpa’s manhood cure.

Curiously (but c’mon, like this isn’t how things work anyhow)
these types of designs and colors were dropped from poison bottles
somewhere between 1920-1930, when it was realized that the lattice and diamonds, the hobnails and the deep
vibrant colors were actually attracting children to these types of bottles.

A sweet and very seldom seen specimen, dug mint condition, a low starting,
never a reserve and you’ll never pay more than actual shipping
which includes FREE delivery confirmation AND insurance.

THANK YOU sincerely for your attention!
