This gorgeous vintage rod is in excellent pristine condition. Photos tell the story, look closely. No obvious wear, damage or issues. Inked on rod; "Phillipson Powr Pakt, a8, 8 1/2', 5, HDH". Excellent reel seat, cork, varnish, guides, ferrules & wraps. Wraps are mustard/gold with black tipping. All pieces areoriginal length andstraight with snug ferrules. Butt section is 1/8" shorter than the other 3equal length sections,but nothing has been done or happened to it. Factory original. If it has been fished it was fished very lightly, maybe unfished. Comes in original tube & sock. Tube label is missing but you can see the shadow of the shield shape Phillipson logo label. Patch of paint(?) on the tube opposite the label. Sock is perfect. You will not find a nicer Phillipson bamboo rod. A greatone to fish. Please ask questions before you offer. Insurance will be included in the sales shipping quote.
