Up for sale is aMuseum Quality c1752Georgian London Sterling Silver Armorial Footed Salver Tray. The Salver Tray is of Exceptional Period Quality throughout, really one of the Finest and most Unique example I have ever personally seen, let alone had the pleasure to sell. The Salver has avery large and bold Scroll and Shelldesigned outer rim, along with a Finely Etched Face. The Salver also has a Large and Finely detailed Center Armorial which is certainly well worth looking into as not everyone could afford a Salver of this large size and quality at the time. The Salver also has Great Lion PawFeet. Overall the Salver is in Very Fine Untouched Original condition with no dints, cracks, holes, or repairs. The Salver is a Rare Early Georgian example with hallmarks for the fine Period Silversmith William Peaston, London England, Sterling Silver andthe DateMark \"r\" for theyear 1752. The Salver is an impressive largesize and displays Beautifully measuring13-1/4 inches wide, and sits1-1/2 inches tall. The Salver has a Quality weight of1177 grams, being very thick Sterling Silver throughout and again showing it\'s amazing quality. The Salver would make a Very Fine addition to any collection, and I am sure will prove a fine investment for the future as well.
