This is for alovely antique sterling silver and guilloche enamel mirror compact. The vivid cobalt blue enamel has a sunburst design with the originalRoyal Navy silver applique in the centre. The silver is hallmarked to Birmingham 1951 along with the makers initials JWB for John William Barret and it hasa mirror on the underside of the lid. It is in very good condition with very little wear and a nice shiny lustre to the glass enamel. There is one tinylittlescuff right on the very edge of the enamel ...see pic and a couple of pinhead dings in the silver. Itmeasures 75mm (3\") square. It has the name K. Morris engraved on the back near the hinge.
