Nippon Porcelain Incised Indian Chief Jeweled Hanging Wall Plaque
Featuring here at sale, another fine Nippon porcelain example of the incised Indian theme, this one being an 8" hanging wall plaque. The rim border is finished with an enamel jeweled and raised moriage decoration. The back side is stamped with the high quality green wreath mark #47. A wonderfully detailed rendering. The Victorian plaque is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This item dates before 1935 (1890-1925) and is Japanese in origin.
