Very good condition original Norwegian Model 1894 KragJorgensen bayonet that was manufactured by Husqvarna in Sweden and has the “crownH” proof mark on the right side blade ricasso. Only 2,000 Krag bayonets wereproduced by Husqvarna, and this example is in the correct serial number range.Metal finish is original bright with some scattered gray. Wood grips haveoriginal finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks, lockbutton functions fine. Fitted in correct original matching numbered scabbardthat has mostly bright metal finish with some scattered brown and gray and somedings. Also complete with the rare original leather frog that is soft andsupple with some normal wear. Stitching is nice and tight. Nice clear “crown NI”marking on the front. A very rare Husqvarna mfg. Norwegian M1894 Krag bayonetthat will make a fine addition to your collection.
