A working model, Live stationary steam engine toy, This is a FALK OVER-TYPE engine: WITH WORKING WATER PUMP (VERY RARE)
Made in Germany Ca 1900. Maybe a bit later.
The boiler is a hefty 5\" in diameter at the large end.
Magnificent piece. original bluing is in fair condition with some light hazing in places.. the base is 6.5\" x 12\" and over all its 15\" long. and to the top of the chimney its 16\". Paint looks to be in amazing condition and original. no burner though. Not hard to find or make. Has its original water pump for in-use filling., and its a self starting engine. Amazing how smooth it runs and how quiet. The quality of this engine is fantastic.
The quality on this beast is as fine as any I have seen. STAMPED \"JF\" on the fire box. And has original PLANK gauge. Works good too.
The paint is in BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL shape.. and BEAUTIFUL on this model. Its got a few very small chips but nothing at all out of line. but the photos represent it in amazing condition for its age. Have a look.
Very good quality, runs very smooth. No vibrations or wobbling parts like others i have seen.
A MASSIVE model.. amazing presence in a display. The fire box has original inside covering to prevent the box from being hot while in use. Never seen that before.
I cleaned it, (very gently) with a bit of oil and a rag and left it original patina for the most part.
