Band is thick and may be difficult to resize to any large degree.Note: The ring mandril seen in the photographs is not included in the sale for the ring.HISTORY:

Educated as an artist and designer, Matilda Poulat of Mexico City, better known as “Matl”, turned her talented hands to jewelry-making in 1934. Her pieces are quite unique, baroque, Spanish Colonial style forms with delicate textured detailing that took hours and hours of chasing, the pieces often channel set with a multitude of tiny coral and turquoise stones. Her work is probably the most intricate that the Mexican Silver Renaissance has produced. Matl trained her nephew, Ricardo Salas, as a jeweler and after her death in 1960, he continued to run the shop and created pieces in the Matl style for many years thereafter.~ please click on image for high definition photos piece will be a museum quality addition to any collection of Mexican silver jewelry and will display beautifully in any Mid Century Modern, Spratling Era, Modernist, Southwest, Santa Fe - Taos style or Arts and Crafts decor, and will look beautiful when worn.
