This evening I am listing a few very nice original antique cast iron Mechanical Banks. CLICK HERE to view the others, and save on combined shipping.Here is a wonderful original Mechanical Bank called \"The Boy on Trapeze\" Bank. J. Barton & Smith Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1888. For one penny dropped in the head the boy revolves once, for nickel twice, for a quarter three times, for a half dollar six times. Measures 9-1/2\" high. Paint is original to the bank and in good condition - as you can see in all the pictures below. The base has a crack on the top (see pics). Bottom of the bank looks good.
