Original U.S. Late WWII-Korea USMC M1 Helmet & Liner Set With Marine Camo Cover
Price: US $255.00
Marine Corps Helmet Set This original USMC helmet set has not had its camouflage cover removed and I will leave the decision of disassembling the set to the winning buyer. The camouflage cover is an original heavily used WWII produced 1st pattern cover without foliage slits; the EGA was most likely added for use in the Korean War. The steel shell is a late-WWII manufactured rear seam helmet with a manganese steel rim. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and khaki chinstraps. The straps feature brass hardware. The Firestone manufactured liner has khaki suspension and green painted steel A-washers, which dates its production from mid-1943 to mid-1944. The suspension is fraying and one of the A-washers has snapped. The liner comes complete with its original headband, neckband, and leather liner strap. The strap is missing its buckle and the leather has become brittle. The liner\'s interior is painted with a possible unit number and the suspension is marked with a very faint set of initials. I was informed this set was received 15 years ago directly from a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War, sadly this is all the information I have on that veteran.Use the larger picture option to view all the details of this original Marine Corps set.\"Like\" the Circa1941 Facebook page!Payment due within 3 days of sale\'s end!
