Original World War 1 poster(20″ x 30″) designed by Howard Chandler Christy (1873 – 1952) to encourage thegeneral public to buy bonds for the fourth libery loan campaign.This posterlike so many others by Christy invokes an overwhelming sense of patriotism withthe American flag draped over a figure of Columbia next to soldiers aiming anaval gun. Christy is perhaps the most collectible of the US posterartists. Poster has a line of holes across the bottom just above the designerssignature.
