Original WW 1 Poster “Help Him Win by Saving\"

Offered for your considerationis an original 1918 lithograph poster supporting War Saving Stamps an initiativeto raise funds for the war effort. These posters were issued to fosterpatriotic spirit in the American citizenry. The poster was printed by theAmerican Lithographic Company. The artist is unknown. The poster measures 20”wide x 30” tall. A very nice example of WW1 memorabilia This poster is 1 of 6that I will be listing on . This sale is for 1 poster as described.

Condition- The item is in verygood condition with slight discoloring consistent with 100 year old paperposter (slight off white). Poster is not restored and is in as found condition.Color is vibrant, no staining , fading and the paper is supple. All sides of thisposter have minor damage. The damage consists of small tears , slight creaseand small folds. Largest tears (3) are ¾”, one on the bottom the other two onthe top. Two ½” tears on right side. Fivevery small tears (less the ½”) around edge. No paper loss. I believe thesedefects can be restored. Consult a poster conservator in your area.
