Offered here is a collection of original WWII plans/blueprints/diagrams for the construction of the \'Spud\' pierheads for the post D-Day \'Mulberry\' harbours along with related photos and ephemera.

There are nine original large WWII plans for the complex electrial and ventilation systems, including two showing deck layouts, plus an original hand drawn electrical diagram for a \'Whale\' roadway switchboard, an original WWII 10\" x 8\" aerial photo of the \'Mulberry\' harbour in operation at Arromanches-les-Bains and a large original WWII 20\" x 16\" photo of the line of \'Spud\' pierheads, 3 original 1944 newspapers (London Times, News Chronicle and Motherwell Times) each featuring articles on the success of the Mulberry harbours, a later photocopy of a 2009 article from the Sunday Post and later related laminated copied WWII photos.

This unique archive turned up at a recent sale and is believed to have come from the home of someone who worked on the original project.
