The sale is for an ORIGINAL World War Two Set of United States Army Paratrooper\'s Cap Toe Jump Boots. These Boots Are ORIGINAL, Scarce Wartime Production Herman Shoes & Boots Manufactured Extra Large SIZE 11 C. You Can See by the Photos Above that Both Boots Measure Approximately 12 1/2 Inches in Length! The Characteristics of Wartime Production Herman Shoes and Boots Manufactured Paratrooper Jump Boots are of Course Capped Toes, Twelve Rows of Grommets, Leather Laces and Chamfered Heels, but Also Two Light Colored Inserts to the Forward Portion of Soles, Three Brass Nails to the Soles, Size Markings to Soles as Well as to the EXTERIOR of the Upper and a SINGLE Manufacturer Tag to the RIGHT Boot Only. Herman, Cochran and Some other Companies Did NOT Date Their Jump Boots. The Only Company Known to Date Jump Boots During WWII was International Shoe Company.These Boots Remain in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT CONDITION and Show Only Minor Signs of Age, Wear and Use. They Maintain a Beautiful VERY Deep, Rich Brown Color with NO Overly Warn Areas, Dry Areas, Broken Stitches, Cuts, Splits, Rot or Tears to Any of the Leather. There is ONE Scuff to the Upper Capped Toe of the RIGHT Boot that is Visible in the Photos. We are Very Confident that with Polish and Buffing, it Could Be Worked Out. The Leather Two Both Boots is Equal in Age and Wear with ALL Leather Remaining Soft, Supple, Flexible and VERY Solid. All Grommets / Eyelets Remain in Place and Undamaged. The ORIGINAL Leather Laces Remain in Both Boots. The Laces Show Minor Age and Wear, but Remain VERY Solid and Undamaged. The Leather Uppers of Both Boots Remain Very Firmly Attached to the Soles. The INTERIOR of the Boots Also Remain Excellent and Shows only Very Light Signs of Age and Wear as Well. The SIZE Markings of \"11 C\" Remain Clearly Visible to the Upper Portion of Each Boot on the Interior Facing Side at Each Opening. The Blue \"Herman Shoes and Boots\" Tag Remains in Excellent Condition and Firmly Attached to the Tongue of the Right Boot.The Soles Consist of Rubber Heels that Are Chamfered for Safety Upon Exiting the Aircraft. There is a Center Leather Sold with Single Brass Nail and a Forward Rubber Sole with TWO Light Colored Inserts. ALL Portions of the Soles Show Minor Age and Wear, but Remain VERY Solid and Undamaged. These are the ORIGINAL Soles for these Boots and the Size \"11\" Can be Seen to the Forward Portion of Both Soles, but the Marking is Worn and Faded.Overall, this is an Extremely Nice Set of Scarce, Extra Large Size, Herman Manufactured WWII Paratrooper Jump Boots.
