Superb Condition - Really Gorgeous Design - 15 troy oz.

These are a superb pair of VINTAGE ART DECO sterling silver mounted candlesticks, that was made in Birmingham, England in 1932 by the famous Edwardian silversmiths, Clark & Sewell at their Legge Lane workshops. They are in an ART DECO octagonal design with integralshaped nozzles. Each one measures 5 1/2\" high by 3\" square across the base and 1 5/8\" across the nozzle. They have nicely filled weighted bases with a film base. Each weighs232.4 grams - virtually 15 troy oz.

They are in very good condition withNO dents, less than the usual surface scratching and only a very few dings - see photographs - SUPERB. They sit nicely upright on their bases with NO distortion. Each is hallmarked to the base with C&S, anchor, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),Hshowing that they were hallmarked in Birmingham in 1932. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A superb pair of ART DECO candlesticks in very good condition afteralmost 85years!!!
