Offered is a Washoe Indian Beaded basket documented in a study of George Bernheimer\'s Native American Beaded Basket collection. This was mentioned by number but it is unattributed. The researchers identified it as Washoe because of the start and dated it to 1940s or before.

This lovely basket in green, white, blue and red/orange beads measures 2 1/4\" across and 1 1/2\" tall. It has repeating triangle designs on sides and a 7-point star on bottom. Excellent condition. You can see a few gaps (as made) in photos and a few stray threads, but there are no missing beads. This came from an extensive collection by George Bernheimer, who had one of the largest collections of these baskets in the world. Some of his pieces were recently offered for sale. From a scholarly article: The Evolution of Beaded Baskets, Southeastern Louisiana University: \"George Bernheimer...has collected over 300, mostly Paiute, beaded baskets.
