Date: Issued on June 5, 1986 (one month afterher marriage to Glen Holt)
Features: The first license ever issued under Annette\'s new married name: \"Annette Funicello Holt.\" In essence, this amounted only to a changeon her license... and she would need to renewher licenseagain on her birthdaythat year: October 22, 1986.
Condition: Good condition; creased at center; staples on right and left edge to hold certificate affixed to reverse. Certificate was signed by Annette in ballpoint pen... and all that remains of the reverse original signature is her first name \"Annette.\" The certificate was torn in half once the license had expired. Both front and reverse sides of the license clearly illustrateAnnette\'s authentic autograph / signature... unlike the many forged signatures that continue to circulate among both dealers and collectors. Theseclear examplescan provide a definitive example of Annette\'s personal and authenticated signature.

This remains the quintessential California collectible from Southern California\'s favoritebeach girl... Annette Funicello. She truly enjoyed drivingthe cars she owned throughout her lifetime... including some of those pictured below.

Personally selected and authorized by Mr. Glen Holt for the exclusive benefit of the Annette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases. Glen and Annette were married on May 3, 1986 and together in 1993 they founded the Fund for the purpose of researching the cause, the treatment and the cure for Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases. Glen faithfully cared for Annette until her passing on April 8, 2013. He continues to carry forward Annette\'s work now as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Annette Funicello Research Fund.
As Annette\'s disease progressed, she and herhusband Glen Holt had redoubled their efforts to fund the critical research that is needed to fight all neurological diseases, including multiple sclerosis, the disease that Annette had so valiantly fought for the past quarter century. Their relentless struggle against the disease served as an inspiration that can motivate Annette\'s friends and fans to participate in providing the financial support thatthis ongoingresearch requires. Perhaps Glen said it best: \"I want to touch their hearts so they will go out there and help us raise some money. I am going to fulfill her wish to help find a cause and a cure.\"
In support of Annette\'s final wish,100% of the proceeds from her personal property will be used to support thecontinuing work oftheAnnette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases.
